These two vendors have different footprints and approaches, with AVVIR focusing more in LIDAR and Openspace's customer base relying more often on photogrammetry. Meanwhile, we got some face time at Procore Groundbream 2023 with Matterport Senior Director and Head of Business Strategy Stephanie Shih-Pei Lin. At Groundbreak, Matterport, which offers reality capture hardware and applications, announced a deepened integration with Procore.
“We launched with the startup of Groundbreak, a deep integration with Procore,” Matterport Senior Director and Head of Business Strategy Stephanie Shih-Pei Lin said. “So within the Matterport space, as you can see te amazing visual digital twin space, you can actually create RFIs, observations and coordination of issues. And this actually directly links to Procore.”
