Tom Carpenter founded Devon Distributing Corporation in 1996. As an ESC contractor, Devon Distributing Corporation installs approximately 300,000 linear feet of silt fence per year, a level of experience that gave Tom first hand knowledge of the difficulties of trench silt fencing. That’s why in 1996, he imagined, developed and manufactured the first tommy™.
