Xtreme Manufacturing began in 1999 when the president of Ahern Rentals, Don Ahern, purchased the manufacturing company Western Attachment Company (WACO)In July of 2002, Don officially changed WACOs name to Xtreme Manufacturing to better represent his philosophy of extreme durability and extreme quality. To complete its line of telehandlers, Xtreme forged an agreement in 2004 with Italian-based telehandler manufacturer Dieci that resulted in importing 5,000-lb. to 7,000-lb. telehandlers, as well as large rotator machines with capacities of up to 10,000 lbs.
