CASE Construction parts and service pricing manager Jim Franceschetti compares genuine and aftermarket engine filters in this video. Genuine engine filters by CASE Construction are made of synthetic materials, resulting in high performance and long-term reliability on the jobsite. On the other hand, most aftermarket engine filters are paper based.

Paper engine filters must be replaced often. While paper engine filters are less costly to purchase, they cannot be reused and are prone to damage. Genuine synthetic engine filters are durable and can be used in rugged work areas filled with dust or debris. This type of engine filter can be reused after cleaning (depending on the specific type of synthetic filter) and is more effective in capturing small particles.
